Your Experience of Service (YES) Survey results 2026

Each year, Stride invites consumers to share their experiences of using our services through the Your Experience of Service (YES) survey. Below you'll find a summary of what our consumers experience of mental health care at Stride has been in 2025.

The best thing was that… “I walked in, and somebody cared about me.”

The feedback collected in this years survey helps us understand what we’re doing well and identify areas where we can improve. Feedback from last year (2025) resulted in a variety of initiatives being undertaken to improve the experiences of the people we support at Stride.

Here’s what our consumers told us in 2025:

  • 84% of respondents (about 5 in 6 people) rated their overall experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.
  • 88% of respondents reported a ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ experience in terms of feeling welcomed, recognised, valued, and treated with dignity in their interactions with the service.
  • 86% of respondents reported a ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ experience in having their personal needs met with sensitivity to their culture, gender, faith, and individual values and beliefs.

Consumers reported that Stride continues to excel in the following domains of experience…

Showing Respect

  • How the service provides the individual with a welcoming environment where they are recognised, valued and treated with dignity.
  • 87% rated their experience positively.

Supporting active participation

The survey also highlights areas of focus for Stride over the next year:
