The Wollongong Mental Health Hub is conveniently co-located with the Stride Family and Carers Centre in Auburn Street, Wollongong. In addition to our centre, we are committed to connecting to communities through our outreach services (specifically in Bellambi and Corrimal).
Wollongong Mental Health Hub, commissioned by Coordinaire – South Eastern NSW PHN, is a vital initiative led by Stride Mental Health. Our mission is to provide accessible and free mental health support to individuals who face barriers to accessing services in communities located on Dharawal country, in southern New South Wales.

Our Mental Health Hub operates as an ecosystem of supports, catering to immediate, short-term, medium-term, and the changing needs of community members.
By January 2024, our full suite of services will be up and running to better serve your needs.
Accessing the service
No initial appointment is necessary to assist you in navigating our services.
Referrals or self-referrals are easy to make through our central intake system – via email, phone, or in-person.
Our dedicated team of Stride Clinicians, Support and Peer Workers are ready provide essential services such as sensory modulation, distress tolerance, safety planning, and brief interventions, working alongside the individual to suit their needs.
We also collaborate closely with other organisations to facilitate connections to ongoing support and follow-up, including support for families and friends. We ensure efficient, warm, and supported transfers to local hospitals when required as a last resort.

Opening Hours
Our opening hours will be 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
Remember, there is no need for an appointment or a referral to access our services.
