Service overview

We provide supported accommodation for young people needing assistance and support with day to day living who have severe or complex mental health concerns. Young people won’t just have a safe place to live at Youth Residential Rehabilitation Units. They’ll have someone they can count on 24/7 to help them through what they’re feeling in a safe and comfortable home environment.

About

This supervised accommodation provides 24/7 assistance with day-to-day living, whilst supporting the young person in their recovery journey. Support within this residence can be offered for up to 12 months, a time in which the young person can develop the skills needed to lead a fulfilling future.

Stride currently provides two Youth Residential Rehabilitation services in Queensland, located in Brisbane. These services operate under a closed referral pathway, in partnership with Queensland Health.

How to access support

This is a referral only service.

All referrals will be via a single point of entry through the YRRS intake coordinator hosted by Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ) HHS.

Youth Step Up Step Down

The YSUSD program provides a residential environment that is welcoming, calm, safe and youth-friendly. During the day, young people have the opportunity to participate in structured programs including group programs and individual clinical and recovery-focused interventions.
