We provide non-clinical psychosocial support to people following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis.
Our services are available for up to 3 months. We aim to assist you in your recovery, guide you to ongoing support, and enhance your overall wellbeing. The Universal Aftercare team includes local peer support workers with lived experience of suicide. We aim to ensure people receive the ongoing support and assistance they need to thrive.
We are a dedicated team of Peer Support Coordinators who use our personal experiences to help others. We have faced our own challenges with suicidal crises and are here to support you. Our services are available for 3 to 6 months. We aim to assist you in your recovery, guide you to ongoing support, and enhance your overall wellbeing.
Universal Aftercare is a referral only service designed to support people who have presented to a participating hospital or established referral pathway, following a suicide attempt (primary criteria). The Service also accepts people who have presented in a suicidal crisis (secondary criteria).
