About

Caboolture Medicare Mental Health Centre is here to make it easier to access the mental health support you need, when you need it. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, going through a difficult time, or simply need someone to talk to, our team is here to help, no referral required.

We offer free, face-to-face support for adults aged 18 and over, including counselling, peer support, and help connecting with other services in the community.

We’ll take the time to understand what you’re going through and work with you to find the kind of support that fits your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’re here to work through it with you.

Our Caboolture team includes dedicated and compassionate mental health professionals, from clinicians and counsellors to peer workers and support staff. Each person brings their own experience and expertise, but we all share one goal: to make sure you feel safe, supported, and heard.

How to access support

Drop in or phone us, there’s no need for an appointment, referral or Medicare card. A friendly member of our team will chat with you about how you’re feeling and help guide you toward the support that’s right for you.

What to expect

When you come to the Caboolture Medicare Mental Health Centre, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly and inclusive space where you can feel safe, respected, and supported. There’s no pressure or judgment, just a team ready to listen and walk alongside you at your own pace.

At your first visit, you’ll sit down for a relaxed chat with one of our team members. We’ll talk about how you’re feeling and what kind of support could be most helpful for you. You may meet with a mental health clinician, a peer worker with lived experience, or a support team member. Everything you share is private and confidential, and you’re welcome to bring a support person along if that helps you feel more at ease.
